We are sad to announce that on May 11, 2022, at the age of 92, Patricia Philpott Petty (Martinsville, Texas), born in Bassett, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John E. Philpott and Gertrude Philpott; and her siblings, A. L. Philpott, Harry Woodrow, Maxine Dorness and Helen Palmour.
She is survived by: her brother John D. Philpott (Nancy); her children, Lynn Payne (John), Suzanne Fuhrmeister, Mark Petty and Sam Petty (Joanie); her grandchildren, Sarah Tulin (Sean), Johnny Payne (Tumie), Daniel Payne (Katie), Kimberly Fuhrmeister and Cory Fuhrmeister (Jordan Temple); her children, Sierra Petty (Devin Allison), Logan, Shane Davis and Toby Rollins; her great grandchild Sedric Tulin; and her grandchildren, Theo, Zinzile, Mia Payne, Slaton, Mary Madison, Anne Temple, Hill Chandler Payne and Erin Allison.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Tackfully Teamed, the Salvation Army, and Doctors Without Borders.
