He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ella Maelynn Fleming; his children, William Terry Fleming, Carol Lynette Elder, Stephen Garfield Fleming, Derrick Ryan Fleming and David Nashon Fleming; and his grandchildren, Michael Gravely, Brittany Maxie, Erica Elder, Terri Elder, Mara Fleming, Jared Fleming and Derrick Fleming Jr.. He was also cherished by six great-grandchildren.
