He was predeceased by: his wife Joan Frances Richards; his son Steven Richards; his siblings, Lorraine Harrison, Coy Wayne Richards, Delbert and Alton Hooker Richards; and his grandson Mark Richards.
He is survived by: his children, Kelly Ann Cobbler, Mark Edward Richards, Brian Keith Richards and Paul Anthony Richards. He is also survived by five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
