Ellen Chaffee Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ellen Chaffee of Martindale, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 25, 2025 at the age of 72. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ellen Chaffee to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her father Joe E. Moore (Robert Charles Chaffee); and her brothers, Lane Moore and Larry Moore. She is survived by: her mother Cherie Freeman Moore of Hamlet; her children, Robert A. "Bobby" Chaffee (Elizabeth Gillham Chaffee) of Kyle and Jessica Chaffee Smith (Ben Smith) of San Marcos, Texas.; her grandchildren, Aaron Smith, Briles Smith and Clover Smith; her siblings, Mike Moore (Paula Moore) of Lake Wylie and Margie Galanos (George Galanos) of Woodbridge; and her husband Robert. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, those that wish to do so may make a donation in Robert and Ellen Chaffee's memory to the Martindale Volunteer Fire Department.
