He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Joseph, Mildred Lampe, William and Pauline Lavinder; his uncle Darrell Patrom; and his nephew Nathan Kyle Moore.
He is survived by: his parents, Melvin Arnold Hocking Jr. and Bonnie Hocking; his wife Marlena Hocking; his sons, Austin Warren, Cayden Wilson, Andrew Hocking and Noah Hocking; his siblings, Amanda Salley, Patricia Wortham, Angie Moore, Kimberly Hocking, Misty McCarver-Moore, Timothy Lavinder, Fa'Lena Hocking and James Lavinder; and his nieces and nephews, Lauren, Claire, Audrey, Mikailyn, Jaxon, Jadyn, Keara, Jordan, Alanis, Carley, Andree, Zoey, Ethan, Zane, Alyssa and Hudson.
