William Porterfield Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Porterfield of Marshall, Texas, who passed away on November 30, 2021 at the age of 76. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of William Porterfield to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ossie Porterfield and Thelma Porterfield (Fountain); his sister Neida; and his brother-in-law Cecil Weir. He is survived by: his son Chris Porterfield (Michelle); his grandchildren, Ryan Porterfield and Colton Porterfield; his nephews, David Weir, Alton Weir (Gloria) and Donnie Weir (Phyllis); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Donnie Weir, Jr. (Marla), Daniel Weir (Leslie), Douglas Weir and Jennifer Gillaspie (Ben). He is also survived by other family members and many friends.

In keeping with Bill's love for animals, the family is requesting, in lieu of flowers, donations in Bill's memory to Marshall Animal Shelter.
