He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Whitney Palmer and Viola Elizabeth Palmer (Patty); his wife Amelia Goldberg Palmer; and his siblings, Tommy, Fred, Jack, Myrtis and Annie.
He is survived by: his children, William David Palmer (Donice L. Palmer) and Patty Scott Palmer Huddleston (William "Bill" Huddleston); his grandson William Trent Palmer of Colorado; and his great-nephew Scott Durham (Mary). He is also survived by other nieces, nephews and countless friends.
