He is survived by: his wife Sheila Howell Ratcliff; his brother Roger Ratcliff (Liz); his children, Mark Alan Ratcliff (Diane), Dr. Steven Mathew Ratcliff (Lindsey) and Anne Louise Dominski (Chris); his grandsons, Cody W. Griffin (Annkarlee), Jaxon M. Ratcliff and Grayson A. Ratcliff; his great grandchildren, Maverick W. Griffin and Rizer B. Griffin; and his nieces, Rachel Aydelotte and Amanda Nikkel.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cammack Family Sullivan Funeral Home (100 E Travis St, Marshall, TX 75670). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Immanuel Baptist Church (2408 W Pinecrest Dr, Marshall, TX 75670).
