He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Thomas and Inez Thomas. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Hunter Thomas; his children, Kim Getsay (Lynn) of Carthage, Texas and Jeff Thomas (Lisa) of Elysian Fields, Texas; his sisters, Sue Bain (Ed) of Grand Cane and Kay Meeks of Grand Cane, Louisiana; his grandchildren, Ben Getsay (Ashlee) of Cypress, Shelby Plaschke (Brandon) of Hallsville, Lee Ann Thomas of Marshall and Lydia Phillips (Levi) of Shreveport, Louisiana; and his great grandchildren, Daisy Plaschke, Callie Getsay and Blake Getsay.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Crossroads Baptist Church Building fund.
