It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Selma Freshour Gollmitzer of Marshall, Texas, born in Lafayette, Indiana, who passed away on January 1, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Freshour and Verna Freshour (Dyer); her husband Judge Raymond F. Gollmitzer; her brother Leonard Francis Freshour; her cousin Frederick Wood Anderson (Woody); and her nephew Jay Bradley Patterson.
She is survived by: her friends, Pat and Frank Korchnak; her children, William Gollmitzer (Kathy), Leslie Criswell (Ed) and Tracey Hoiles (Mike); her sister Leta Hubner (Herb); her sisters-in-law, Doreen Carpenter, Joan Zagora (Don), Christine Jones and Hope Knybel (Dave); and her cousins, Lib Anderson (Woody), John, Judy, Jane, Jennifer Murtaugh, Joyce Funk and Verna Crooks (Dick). She is also survived by her children, Grandchildren and eventually Great Grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a time when the restrictions of Covid are lifted to allow us to honor her properly.
