She was predeceased by: her parents, James Walker McAllister and Letha Slater McAllister; her husband Marshall Darby; her siblings, Clifton McAllister, Bill McAllister and Dorothy Ward; and her son-in-law Jimmy Rayes.
She is survived by: her children, Marshall Darby (Dorsey) and Janet Rayes; her siblings, George McAllister, Walter McAllister (Alda Rose), Franklin McAllister and Linda Anderson; and her grandchildren, Darin Darby (Dana), Michelle Bowen (Blake), Jeff Darby (Vanessa), Dianna Daniels (Tommy), Mindy Travis (Jeff), Josh Darby (Paige), Melissa McClure (Cody) and Sheila Black (Eric). She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the United Methodist Church of Jourdanton.
