With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Russell Asaff of Marshall, Texas, who passed away on December 18, 2020 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Eli Asaff and Bertha Asaff (Thomas); his brothers, Bill Asaff and Jerry Asaff; his sister-in-law Cindy Albright; and his parents-in-law, J. J. Lowe and Margaret Lowe.

He is survived by: his wife Judy Gay Asaff (Lowe); his brother Tommy Asaff (Jan); his sister-in-law Glena Low; his nephew Craig Asaff, Jr. (Robin); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Rhett, Austin and Chris Asaff (Alissa); and also, Ashlyn, Cale, Abby, Eric Asaff (Ally), Alex, Eli, Matt Albright (Phoenix), Sophie, Andy Albright and Phillip Ford.

Due to the current pandemic, masks and social distancing will be REQUIRED.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Trinity Episcopal Church.

“My Heart is Broken for Judy and the Asaff Family with the loss of Rusty. this week. Heaven has gained a Texas Longhorn Angel for sure. Rusty, his older brother,Tommy, and myself went to Trinity Episcopal Church together growing up. We always let Rusty tag along with his Big Smile and Big Heart. Besides, he was Tommy’s younger brother! Rusty has never lost that Big Smile and Big Heart in the 60 years I have known him. Rusty will be missed!💙 Much Love, Susan Huffman Bogue”
