He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Hines Mayfield and Virginia Bell Hopkins Mayfield; and his wife Linda. He is survived by: his children, Marty Mayfield (Lisa), Chad Mayfield and Kimberly Cherry; and his brother Robert Mayfield. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
