With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Rebecca Deaton (Marshall, Texas), born in Henderson, Texas, who passed away on June 22, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Rebecca may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rebecca touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Victor Frederick Grant and Molly Louise Grant; and her husband Robert Dale Deaton. She is survived by: her son Anthony Henderson (Donnis) of Longview; her grandsons, Jacob Goss (Sue) of Jackson, Miss., Jonah Goss (Diana) of San Diego, Calif. and Christian Grant Henderson of Longview; her great grandchild Isabel Goss of Jackson, Miss.; her brother Laverne; and her sister-in-law Glenda Grant of Jefferson.
