Patel; his daughter-in-law Sandhya Patel of Marshall, Texas; his daughter Pushpa Patel; his sons-in-law, Naresh Patel of San Francisco and Bharat Patel of Corpus Christi; and his grandchildren, Aveena, Krupa, Kevin, Nishita, Anam, Chirag, Pooja and Priya. He was also cherished by 5 great-grandchildren.
