He was predeceased by: his parents, Newman Butler and Geraldine Butler. He is survived by: his wife Felicia Lynette Harris; his children, Keishondalyn Bryant, MyEsha Dowell, DyEsha Dowell, Jessica Brasher, Marcus Millard and Kameron Dowell (Benita); his grandchildren, Daylon, Nathan, Brianna, Caison, Trinity, Sahniyah and Markayla; his sisters, DiAnne Hodge, Bonita Alexander (Justin) and Luel Booker-Jones; and his friends, Billy Jackson, Jimmy Cannon and Reba Davis.
