He was predeceased by: his parents, Walton Maurice Padgett and Mary VanNorman of Virginia; his wife Linda Padgett; his grandson Jason Johndrow; and his sister Carol Hortman.
He is survived by: his children, Crystal Epps (Timothy), Danielle Johndrow (Richard), Denise Fitch (Dudley), Tracy Cooper (Lila) and Stacy Hill (Kenneth); his sister MaryBeth Dupree; and his grandchildren, Jorden Epps, Jayden Epps, Kaley Tibbetts, Amanda Johndrow, Cameron Hill, Chase Tolbert, Skye Tolbert, Chloe Cooper, Darbi Hill and Kaden Fitch. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
