It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Louise Plemmons in Marshall, Texas, born in Vivian, Louisiana, who passed away on November 16, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Oliver Britton Smith and Kathleen Dehner Smith; and her husband Royce Alan "Buddy" Plemmons. She is survived by: her children, Mary Patricia Plemmons Rogers (Dave), Royce Britton Plemmons (Ruth Anne) and Margaret Nell Plemmons Shiver (Todd); her grandchildren, Kyle Rogers of Houston, Courtney Rogers of Dallas, Dr. Britton Plemmons (Ashli) of Longview, Blake Plemmons of Marshall, Grant Shiver (Lindsey Shiver) of Denver, CO and Reid Shiver (Ali) of Littleton, CO; her great grandchildren, Jackson, Olivia, Pierce Plemmons, Oliver, Sloane Shiver and Grady Shiver; and her caregivers, Cirila, Elenaor, Frances, Eboni and Angela.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to St. Joseph Catholic Church or Catholic Daughters of the Americas.
