She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Barta and Effie Jane Zastoupil Barta; and her husband Carl Birdsong. She is survived by: her daughters, Debra Bagley (Tracy), Carla Forehand (Darron), Teresa Cathey (Shane) and Jane Wheat. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren along with other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in her honor to the Marshall Humane Society.
