It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marlin Clayton Skinner of Marshall, Texas, who passed away on March 4, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Chappell Skinner and Zelma Weaver Skinner; his daughter Sharon Ready Skinner; and his brother Thomas Eugene Skinner. He is survived by: his wife Patricia "Pat" Skinner; his children, Michael Glenn Skinner (Amanda), Wendy Smelley (Michael Scott), Jeffrey Scott Skinner (Cindy) and Robyn Soules (Mac); his grandchildren, Justin Skinner (Denise), Jessica Garrett (Collin), Sydney Skinner, Davis Smelley (Brittany), Zeke Smelley, Wade Smelley (Hailey), R. W. Skinner, Luke Soules, Grace Jones (Brady) and Tucker Soules; his great grandchildren, Minnie, Marlie, Lilly, Sawyer, Hudson, Hazel and Wesley; and his brothers, Stanley Skinner (Joan) and Bradley Skinner. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and other family members and friends.
