It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lillie Mayfield (Marshall, Texas), who passed away on June 15, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Prince Djalma Rawls and Mamie Louise Perry; her grandmother Lillie T. Perry; her former husband Merrill Eugene Elliott; her sons, David Elliott of Tarzana, CA. and Bill Elliott (Karen) of Marshall; her husband Dennis Mayfield; her siblings, Dalma Reinheimer (Bob), Pat Rawls (Gwen), Danny Rawls (Pat) and Patsy Lee Rawls; her nieces, Patricia Reinheimer and Mary Freeman; her brother Prince M. Rawls (Anita) of Houston; her granddaughters, Katie and Mandi Elliott of Lewisville; her great grandchild TJ Henigan of Marshall; her nieces, Suzanne Graham, Fran Reinheimer, Linda Kerr, Karen Horan and Shawn Rawls; her nephew Bobby Rawls; and her cousins, Bobby Perry, Joe Ruffer, Gene Roberts, Jimmy Roberts and Janet Strickland.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the T&P Depot at 800 N. Washington Ave., Marshall, Tx. 75670 in Nell's memory, as this old building was Nell's work place for many years.
