With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Keith Glen Jones of Marshall, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Wilbur Jones and Nettie Faye Maddox Jones; his son Jesse Keith Jones; his parents-in-law, A. H. and Nina Carlton; his brothers, Michael Jones and Randy Jones; his siblings-in-law, Danny Pope, Barry Carlton, Nancy Ponder and Rhudale Jones Robinson; and his nephews, Donnie Pope, Kenny Ray Jones and Ritchie Price.
He is survived by: his daughter Lydia Elaine Jones Williams (Chris); his wife Anita Jones; his grandchildren, Zakkry Jones, Mason Sutton, Ivy, Dax and Kasch Williams of Marshall; his siblings, Kevin Jones (Renee) of Longview, Shirley Jones (Bobby) and Brenda Pope of Marshall; his sisters-in-law, Barbara Jones of Hallsville, Karen Bounds (Galen) of Marshall and Angie Price (Ritchie) of Cleveland; and also Brittany Sutton of Kilgore. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Downs Funeral Home (4608 Elysian Fields Rd, Marshall, TX 75672). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home (4608 Elysian Fields Rd, Marshall, TX 75672). A burial was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at the Grange Hall Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in his honor to the American Cancer Society.
