She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Hollaway and Wanda Arlene Pierce; and her husband Cecil Ray Self. She is survived by: her children, Kyle Preston of Carthage and Karrie Strong (Billy) of Marshall; her grandchildren, Brandon Ferguson (Chelsea), Bryan Ferguson (Sara), Brittney Williams and Jeremy Preston; and her great grandchildren, Cason Ferguson, Charlotte Ferguson (Charlie), Noah Lee, Kensley Lee, Taylor Hayner and Trista Strong.
A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home (4608 Elysian Fields Rd, Marshall, TX 75672).
