She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hogue and Melba Price Hogue; and her granddaughter Megan Deason. She is survived by: her husband James Holt of Marshall; her sons, Chris Deason (Buffie) of Jacksonville and Shannon Deason (Nicole Hurry); her stepdaughters, Brandy Holt of Marshall and Desiree'Loupo (Joe) of Lufkin; her siblings, Linda Smith of Henderson, Danny Hogue (Monica) of Carrollton and Larry Hogue of Splendora; her grandchildren, Haley Taylor, Jackson Deason and CJ Deason; her great grandchildren, Jax Deason and Rylee Deason; and her stepgrandchildren, Serena and Lexi Conner.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cottle Funeral Home (105 E Bradford St, Troup, TX 75789). A memorial service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
