She was predeceased by: her parents, James and Bertha of Washington; and her brother Eddie of Washington. She is survived by: her daughters, Bonnie Singleton Jenkins and Sharon Singleton Shaw; her grandchildren, Eric Jenkins, Erica Jenkins, Eron Jenkins and Carlos Shaw; her great grandchildren, Alonzieo Pryor, Itayah Jenkins, Eniyah Jenkins, Gabrielle Jenkins, D'Kerrius Shaw, Car and Marieon Taylor-Shaw; her close friend Curtis Frederick; and her pet Peanut. She is also survived by family members and friends.
