He is survived by: his wife Susan Simpson Collins; his son Jason; his daughter-in-law Christy Collins of Clarksville; his daughter Jennifer; his son-in-law Guy Hawk of Stilwell; his daughter Sunny; his son-in-law Coby Hefler of Lindale; his grandchildren, John Walter (Katie), Eva, James, Zachary, Isaiah and Alison; his sister Sue; his brother-in-law Bob Pattison of Tahlequah; his sister Judy Jones of Red Oak; his siblings-in-law, Stewart Simpson (Debby) of Jefferson and Becky (Rock Dicke) of Mason; and his mother-in-law Dorothy Simpson Carter of Marshall. He is also survived by numerous family members and friends.
