He was predeceased by : his parents, Rev. S. L. Granger and Rena Hardin Granger; and his brothers, Murrell Granger, Glynn Granger and Thomas Granger.
He is survived by : his wife Louise Strong Granger; his children, Sheri Broadwater, Tammy Noriega (Jamo) and Michael Granger (Susan); his grandchildren, Bo Broadwater (Natalie), Kari Evans, Jennifer Terry (Jeremy), Kendra Burns (Heath), Jillian Granger (Richard Derhake), Matthew Granger (Kaori) and Rustie Evans; and his sister Pat Almquist. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, beloved relatives, and friends.
