It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jean Stegal of Marshall, Texas, born in Rusk, Texas, who passed away on January 9, 2021, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Thurston Sanders and Josie Bell Armstrong; her children, Chuck Stegall, Jerry Stegall (Glenda), Teresa Beckett and Cathy Preston (Larry); her siblings, Joy Boaze, Gaylon Sanders and Janice Giehl; her husband Chester Stegall; her brother Kendall Sanders; and her great grandchildren, Lizzie and Lance Butler. She was also cherished by nine grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren.
