He was predeceased by: his parent Burla Snow Beggs; his wife Lois Smith; and his siblings, Terry Beggs, Gary Snow, Janie Barker, Sandra Kay Beggs and Robbie Leona Beggs.
He is survived by: his children, James Smith, Jr. of Mena, Arkansas, Dusty Singleton (Perry) of Marshall, Gidget White (Bryan) of Nevada and Martha Ragugini (Kevin) of Marshall, Texas; his grandchildren, Cheyenne, Jaquita, Justina, Ashley, James Smith, III, James Smith IV, Jimmy Smith, Jr., Cody, Faith George and Avery White; and his siblings, Roger Beggs, Jerry Snow, Linda Ferguson and Kathy Hoover. He is also survived by great grandchildren.
