He was predeceased by: his son Jim Hanson; his parents, James Kenneth Hanson, Sr. and Catherine Phoenell Hanson; and his brother Claude Gingles. He is survived by: his siblings, Fadra Towers of Carthage, TX, Clair Dannhaeuser of Marshall, TX and Marty Gingles (Theresa) of Carrollton, TX; his stepsister Ella Burt; his sister-in-law Martha Gingles; and his nieces and nephews, Wes Sutton, Katie Vernon, Sarah Gingles and Natalie Minatrea.
