He was predeceased by: his parents, Lela Mae Nix Wisdom and Vernon Wisdom; his daughter Amanda Dawn Wisdom; and his siblings, Vernon Eugene Wisdom, Shirley Batson and Ruby Ann Richardson.
He is survived by: his wife Sara K. Wisdom; his sons, Michael Lynn Wisdom of Dallas, Jamie Shawn Wisdom of Dallas and James Henry Wisdom, Jr. (Angela) of Sedalia, MO; his brother Louis Marion Mathis of Dallas; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Hall of Marshall. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family and friends.
