He is survived by: his children, Anethra Ward and James Harvey Ward, Jr.; his siblings, Eddie Ward, Annie Ruth Ward, Sharon Ward, Cynthia Woolridge (Earnest), Dorothy Ward and Ruby Jewel Ward; and his close friend Annette S. Minneweather. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
