He was predeceased by: his parents, Hugh W. Brown and Dorothy Swan Brown; his daughter Monica Lynn Brown; his sister Vondal Reed; and his brother-in-law Mickey Reed.
He is survived by: his special kitty Goldy; his pet Sugar; his wife Annette; his daughters, Michelle Edmonson (Don) and Mindy Waldrop (Jeff); his grandchildren, Kristen Muse (Kevin), Chelsea Reno (Scott), Charla Waldrop, Logan Edmonson (Sarah) and Donna Manning (Anthony); his great grandchildren, Marleigh Muse, Audrey Reno, Aiden Reno, Jacob Reno, Collin Reno, Keira Reno, Leni Edmonson, Ellie Gates, Landon Gates, Dominique Manning (Lexi) and Jamian Manning; and his siblings, Gene Brown (Anita) and Elaine Brown. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Downs Funeral Home (4608 Elysian Fields Rd, Marshall, TX 75672). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Eastern Hills Church of Christ (2705 E Travis St, Marshall, TX 75672). A burial will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at the Colonial Gardens Cemetery.
