It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Quick of Marshall, Texas, who passed away on March 12, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, George Quick and Lenora Williams Quick; his daughters, Wyndi Rooks of Winnie, Sandi Alston (Fred Alston), Jana (Andy Woodard) and Lori (Edward Simpson); his grandchildren, Trent Alston (Megan), Todd Alston (Courtney), Tyler Alston (Carlee) and Rustyn Quick (Kathryn); and his great grandchildren, Porter Alston, Braxton Alston, Turner Alston, Tynlee Alston, Tanner Alston, Tucker Alston, Ellie Quick and Lawson Quick. He was also cherished by his wife, children, and grandchildren/great grandchildren.

“We loved George and he was a lot of fun. Bud and I were "shopping" at Estate sale one day, and as always, Buddy checked for bibles first. He came across one of George's bibles. When he opened and flipped through it he found a picture of George and myself in the bible taken at Central Baptist Church Adult one Christmas party in 2012. Precious memories of George...I always teased him by calling him "Georgy Porgy, Puddin and Pie...kissed the girls and made them cry"”
