He was predeceased by: his significant other Gracie Mae; his grandson Russell Kirk Oney; his parents, Heskell Oney and Frances Victoria Oney (Smith); and his siblings, Calvin, Vernon, Robert, Alice, Eugene, Fairy Mae and Mabel.
He is survived by: his son Kenneth Oney; his daughter-in-law Sheryl; his daughter Patricia Arden; his son-in-law John; his grandchildren, Heather Shirts (Jay), Holly Luther (Joey), Joseph Arden and Keasha Knopp (Marky); his great grandchildren, Hunter, Gage Shirts, Kendall, Warren, Rosie, Jasper Luther, Keegan Arden (Samantha), Trace and Lucien Knopp; his great great grandchild Tallulah Arden; and his siblings, Juanita Davidson (Jerry), Faye Toombs (James) and Denver Oney.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 31st 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Cammack Family Sullivan Funeral Home (100 E Travis St, Marshall, TX 75670).
