He was predeceased by: his parents, George Stotts and Ovada Stotts; and his brother Charles S. Stotts. He is survived by: his siblings, George Thomas Status and Flo (Bob Ray) of Grand Rapids, Michigan; his sister-in-law Karen Stotts of Lansing, Michigan; and his caregiver Tracey Williams. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, friends.
In his spare time, he always found time for canvas painting and taking a joy ride in his Classic Ford Mustang, which he donated after he became ill.
