He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Lee and Clara Alice McClenan; his wife Charlotte McClenan; his daughter Alicia Odom; his brothers, R. D. McClenan, Keith McClenan, Lester McClenan, Roy McClenan and Richard McClenan; his son-in-law Bubba Madden; his grandson Doyle Salyer; and his great grandchild Harold Boland.
He is survived by: his children, Joe McClenan "Shorty", Kelly Madden, Butch McClenan and Angie McClenan; and his brother Tom McClenan. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
