He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Howard Vance and Jeral Dean Walker; his wife Marianna Dyar Walker; his children, Clay Walker (Jess), Jenny Jobe (Mike), Luke Walker, LeAnna Anderson and Michael Brown (Claudia); his grandchildren, Brandon Walker (Mindy), Melana Uland (Joseph), Allen Jobe, Aaron Jobe, Mia Brown, Tyler Brown, Clay Timmons (Katlyn) and Mady Timmons (Malachi Pipkin); his great grandchildren, Valerie Walker and Hera Tove Jobe; his siblings, Roby Bryant, Colene Haston (Joel) and John Walker (Melinda); and his friend Vance. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Sullivan Funeral Home (100 E Travis St, Marshall, TX 75670). The military honors will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Methodist Church. A burial will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at the TBD Jernigan Cemetery (674 FM 9, De Berry, TX 75639).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials honoring Vance to Mt. Zion Methodist Church or the Commemorative Air Force.
