He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Joseph Sperier, Sr. (A. J.) and Catherine Anne Stevens Sperier (Katy); his wife Wanda Joyce Wyatt; his children, Richard Anthony Sperier (Tony), Mark Todd Sperier and Sharon Sperier Warner; and his siblings, A. J. Sperier, Jr., John Sperier, Larry Sperier, Charles Sperier, Lucy Daniel, Anna Parker, Jane Scrivener and Rita Bettis (Nell Armstrong).
He is survived by: his children, Karen Holloway (Steve) and Edward Carl Sperier, Jr.; and his sister Elizabeth Klecka. He is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren along with a number of nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in his honor to St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marshall, Texas.
