He is survived by: his mother Loretta Powell; his wife Doretha Hicks Powell; his daughter Ashley Green (Darren); his stepchildren, Tameka Hicks and Artis Hicks, Jr.; and his siblings, Charleston Powell, Calvin Powell, Bryan Powell (Sandra), Rita Thomas (Tony) and Kashon Powell. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
