It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eddie George Burks (Marshall, Texas), who passed away on September 26, 2020, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Felton Burks and Irene Moore Burks; and his grandson Malik Stephens. He is survived by: his wife Ella Woodkins Burks; his siblings, Lillie Mae Jackson and Larry Burks; his children, LaTonya Stephens of San Antonio, Shante Davis of Tyler, LaTisha Stephens of Waskom and Eddie Stevens of Waskom; his brother Willie Burks (Ram); his aunts, Lorene and Treva; and his close friend Clearance Williams (Kind). He is also survived by nieces, handsome nephews, cousins and host friends.
