With profound sadness, we say goodbye to David McClendon of Marshall, Texas, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Richard McClendon and Mary Alice Rhodes McClendon; and his brothers, James R. McClendon (Jimmy) and Asa E. McClendon (Sonny). He is survived by: his sons, Chris, Scott and Pat McClendon; his daughter-in-law Rhonda McClendon; and his granddaughters, Audrey, Juliet McClendon, Christina White and Amelia Daughtry. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews and other friends and family.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Downs Funeral Home (4608 Elysian Fields Rd, Marshall, TX 75672).
