He was predeceased by: his parents, John Lewis Davis, Sr. and Peggy Christopher; his stepmother Patricia Schaffer; his brothers, John "Jay" Davis and Todd Davis; his friend Doc; and his pet Alli.
He is survived by: his wife Sarah Sipes Davis; his children, Jonathan Davis, Chelsea Thomas and Leslie Weir (Daniel); his grandchildren, Gracey, Beckett, Blayton and Isiah; his siblings, Terry Davis, Sherri Wilson (Tommy), James Davis (Trina), Monica Bailey, Jay Neal Bailey and Janet Davis; his close friend Sheila Esquivel; and his pets, Tootie and Emmy.
