He was predeceased by: his parents, Martin Palmer and Laverne Meyers Palmer; his siblings, Kenny, Jerry, Richard, Gene, Sylvia, Carol and Diane; and his stepgranddaughter Lucy.
He is survived by: his wife Elise Palmer; his brother Lanny Palmer (Michelle); and his stepchildren, Caroline, Mike, Melinda, Scotty, William, Harold, James, Niki, Jason, Dena (Matt), Tia, Todd (Beth), Cara and Travis. He is also survived by several grandchildren and many nieces and nephews along with other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints Marshall (700 Plantation Ln, Marshall, TX 75672). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Latter-Day Saints Church (700 Plantation Ln, Marshall, TX 75672). A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Yates Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
