She was predeceased by: her parents, George Code Witherspoon and Dessie Mae Witherspoon (Stowe); her siblings, Allie Mae, Georgia and Bobby; her children, Emory John, Jr. (Johnny) and Dolores; and her grandson John III.
She is survived by: her daughters-in-law, Dorinda McKnight and Sandi Carrington; her grandchildren, Jeff Carrington, Vicki Lipsey (Dalton), Polly Allen (Jerrod), Chrissie Thompson (Derek) and C. Carrington (Stephanie); and her friends, Paul and Luanne Gorzsas. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 1st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cammack Family Sullivan Funeral Home (100 E Travis St, Marshall, TX 75670). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 2nd 2024 at the Algoma Cemetery (2380 Victory Dr, Marshall, TX 75670).
