She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Samuel Welch and Mattifue Plemmons; her husband William "Don" Burns; her children, Shirley (Joe Evans), Lori (Jeff Bolyer), W. D. (Dannette Burns), Jason Burns and Rodney (Lauren Burns); her sisters-in-law, Sue Mahaffey and Brenda Johnson; her grandchildren, Joe Evans, II, Stacy Evans, Shawn, Chris Rivers, Kimberly Rangel, Steven Bolyer, Kendall Burns, Ashlyn Anderson Burns, Tate and Beau Burns; her great grandchildren, Kaelyn, Aiden Rangel, Donavan Hicks, Makaila Casas, Danielle Casas, Kamrun, Joseph, Ethan, Robin, Aeidia, Breanna, Brittany Evans and Ridge Bolyer; her sisters, Patsy Parsons, Gwen Marshall and Barbara Ann; and her grandson Michael "Mikey" Evans. She was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
