He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleavon Powell and Myrtle Powell (Evans). He is survived by: his wife Sue Powell (Padgett); his children, Mark Powell (Pam) of Greenville, TX, Karen Wiley (Mike) of Marshall, TX and LeaAnne Fore (Gary) of Kirbyville, TX.; and his grandchildren, Jordan Powell (Shawna), Katelyn Saffer (Jonathan), Ellen Fore, Abbie Fore, Luke Fore (Alayna), Molly Fore, Joel Fore, Andy Fore and Betsy Fore. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
