He was predeceased by: his parents, J. E. Haynes and Cecile Pace Haynes. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn McKay Haynes; his children, William M. "Mike" Haynes (Mary Ann), Mark E. Haynes and Melanie Woodley (Clifton); his grandchildren, Aislinn Haynes (Robert McBride), Austin Haynes (Melissa), Layn Haynes (Rylee), Matraya Haynes, Audrey Woodley and Adam Woodley (Katilynn); his great grandchildren, Taylor McBride Guffey, Robert Payne McBride, Jarrod McBride, Roseanna McBride, Reid Haynes, Rhett Haynes and Judson Woodley; his brother Kenneth Haynes (Nancy); and his nephews, Roger Haynes (Andrea) and David Haynes (Katherine). He is also survived by five great-nephews and one great-niece.
