With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Betty Lou Clough of Marshall, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 13, 2024 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nathaniel Earl Clough and Herrice Devenport-Clough. She is survived by: her siblings, Hattie Ramsire of Marshall, Annie Porter, Margaret Goodwin of Longview, Texas, Willie Clough Sr. (Dorothy) of Marshall, Izia Clough Sr. of Marshall, James Clough (Yvonne) of Marshall, Henry Clough of Marshall and Andrew Clough Sr. (Cornelia) of Leander, Texas; her stepchildren, Robert Dean Jr. and Sandra Dean; and her godchildren, Tyah Green and Gavin Irving. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Downs Funeral Home (4608 Elysian Fields Rd, Marshall, TX 75672). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home (4608 Elysian Fields Rd, Marshall, TX 75672). A burial was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 at the Liberty Cemetery.
