She is survived by: her husband Leander Owens, Sr.; her children, Leander Owens, Jr. and Phyllis Owens Jones; her siblings, Annie Pearl Tillis, Evelyn Louise Wells (Theodore), Nelvin Bailey, Alice Thomas and Namon Latson, Jr. (Brenda); and her grandchildren, Leandria Walker (Jeremy), Stephen Chase Owens (April), Phillip Jones and Doris Jones. She is also survived by her six great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
